More infomration to follow. 1 – Patterns: White (Geup 8) to Blue/Red (Geup 5) – Long 1-2 Brown (Geup 4) to Cho Dan Bo (Geup 1) – Long 2-4 1st Dan – 7-9 2nd Dan and above – Yedo 2-3 2 – Paper cutting 3 – Choreographed Sparring (30 seconds) 4- (Maybe) Bamboo cutting
2024 Nationals
The 2024 version of the HGNZ Nationals was held in Tauranga on the 8th of September. The tournament was a nice relaxed martial arts experience with some visitors from Australia helping to boost the number of competitors. After the tournament a grading was held for the 2nd Gumdo practitioners. A successful day.
Wellington, 6th August
HGNZ held a “beginners day” in Wellington, hosted by Dave Mischefski (Fighting Fit Karori).
